Being Inclusive by Action

Course has been designed to sensitise teachers, students teachers and parents  towards Persons with Disabilities. To be empathetic and compassionate. An attempt to groom inclusive citizen not by word but by action.

Course Content

Module: 1 Basics of Inclusion

Introduction: disability and its causes

A brief history of inclusion

An inclusive classroom

 

Module: 2 Know your children

Child Development: Milestones and theories.

Disabilities in an inclusive classroom.

 

Module: 3 Inclusive by action

Empathetic practices in a classroom.

Designing adaptation and accommodation activities.

Outcomes of this Course

Students will be able:

  • To empathise with Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
  • To identify red flags in children.
  • To design assimilation and accomodation activities as per disability.
